Faced with a limited budget, Elizabethtown College re-imagined how a campaign could be launched through the use of digital and social media, video production and a robust web presence. Combined with a live scripted and staged event featuring faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the College; five regional events held along the eastern seaboard; and real-time streaming Internet coverage of the live event, this campaign launch approach ultimately proved to be effective at controlling costs and producing results that surpassed our wildest dreams. Moreover, all of these elements were managed in-house using the skills and talents of our small but mighty teams in marketing and communications, information technology, institutional advancement and facilities management.
